- Click on System.
- Click on Reset options.
- Click on Erase all data (factory reset).
- Click on the ERASE ALL DATA button.

Note: Factory resetting your device will erase all data, so make sure to back up any important information before proceeding.
Have your PADS4 server installed and configured
During the installation, you will need to configure the PADS4 Server location. It is recommended to complete the PADS4 Server installation before proceeding with the device installation.
Ensure the ProDVX API is installed
For the ProDVX APPC-R23 series, PADS4 utilizes the ProDVX API. This API is likely already installed on your device.
To check if the ProDVX API is running:
- Look for the PA icon in the Android status bar.
- If you don't see the icon, drag down the status bar to expand the notifications. Look for a notification indicating "ProDVX API (AOSP) is running."
If the ProDVX API is not installed or running, please download it [here] and install it before proceeding with the PADS4 Viewer installation.
ProDVX API Token
The ProDVX API requires a token for authentication. PADS4 is preconfigured to use the ProDVX default API token. In most cases, you don't need to modify this token.
If you have created a custom token, you can replace the default token with yours. Navigate to the following directory on your PADS4 server: C:\Program Files\PADS4\Foundation\Apps. Locate the file named prodvx-api-token.txt and replace the existing token with your custom token. Save the file.
